The ITFlorida Board of Directors congratulates Jon Yob, Founder and CEO of Creative Recycling Systems, and the 2008 IT Leader of the Year.

The 2008 ITFlorida Awards Winners have been announced at the annual Sixth Annual ITFlorida Awards Gala at Disney's Contemporary Resoort, which included the following speakers and presenters:

• Sandy Baruah, Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)
• U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson
• Florida Senate President-Designate Jeff Atwater
• State CIO David Taylor
• Sen. Jeremy Ring
• Dr. Dale Brill, director of Gov. Charlie Crist's office of economic development
• Terry Tamminen, former Secretary of the California EPA

ITFlorida serves the state as an umbrella organization, comprised of both public and private technology leaders; and advocates for sound public policy to the Governor, the Legislature, and Enterprise Florida on technology issues and initiatives.
