Marshall Criser is currently Regulatory & External Affairs Vice President for BellSouth Telecommunications in Florida. He is responsible for advocacy and gaining acceptance of BellSouth's policy and business objectives before the Florida Public Service Commission and other key external stakeholders. He is also responsible for providing leadership in the development of BellSouth's strategy to manage the regulatory process and optimize the quality and character of Florida's external affairs management program.

Mr. Criser has previously held the position of Vice President-Regulatory and Strategic Planning for BellSouth International. In this position, he led the development of BellSouth's strategy to focus on development and expansion to new lines of business in Latin America as well as the implementation of a strategic planning discipline in the corporation's international operations. He was also responsible for advocating BellSouth's international strategy to key policy makers around the world. He has held various other positions with BellSouth Corporation including Director of State and Agency Relations for BellSouth Corporation in Washington, D.C. He began his BellSouth career at Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Company where he held positions in state regulatory matters, internal audits, and the comptrollers department.

A U.S. native, Marshall Criser holds a bachelors degree in business administration from the University of Florida. He has also completed the Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD in Fountainebleau, France. He is a member of the Board of Trustees and the Research Committee for the Florida Chamber of Commerce Foundation, serves as Chairman of the Florida Research Consortium, and is President of the Florida 4-H Foundation. He is immediate Past President and a Board Member of the Florida Telecommunications Industry Association, and an alumnus of Leadership Florida and Leadership Tallahassee. He and his wife, Kimberly, have four daughters.
